High-density storage with fast access from the aisle. Push-Back stores multiple pallets deep per level (up to 16, system-dependent) and is ideal for bulk lines where LIFO is acceptable.
What it is
A lane-based system where pallets sit on nested carts or rollers running on steel guide channels. Each lane can hold a different SKU, giving dense storage without tying up whole bays.
How it works
Load the first pallet into the lane; each new pallet pushes the previous one back. When you pick a pallet, the next pallet rolls forward to the pick face. Works with most standard forklift trucks.
Operational fit
Best for bulk storage where lower selectivity is acceptable, push-back racking suits LIFO workflows and batch picking. It delivers high density from the aisle without needing specialist trucks, keeping handling quick, simple and cost-effective.
