What it is
A semi-automated storage system that combines pallet racking with powered shuttle carts running on rails inside each lane. The shuttle moves pallets to their storage position and retrieves them on demand, controlled by a forklift operator using a remote or control interface. It offers the perfect balance between high-density storage and flexible, efficient access, with both FIFO and LIFO configurations possible.
How it works
Forklifts place the shuttle in the selected lane. Once loaded, the shuttle automatically carries pallets deep into the channel and deposits them in the next available location. For retrieval, the shuttle brings pallets forward to the aisle for easy pick-up.
The process reduces forklift travel distances and manoeuvring, increases throughput, and eliminates the need for operators to drive into the racking structure, improving both speed and safety.
