Pallet Racking

There are many options and numerous solutions when it comes to installing pallet racking in your Warehouse, Factory or Coldstore. To make sure you choose the option that is perfect for your needs we work with you to identify your critical processes and operational and financial requirements.

There are nine main types of pallet racking.

The most commonly used and more standard Wide Aisle Pallet Racking and Very Narrow Aisle Pallet Racking are extremely versatile and adaptable. These systems offer easy accessibility to goods and are designed for counter balance, reach or flexi truck operation. (VNA Racking will require specialist trucks and a truck guidance system.) Racking widths and heights can be adapted to work within your floor, ceiling and load confinements and the racking can be easily configured to meet your specific volume, weight and handling needs.

Double Deep and Drive-in Pallet Racking are designed to create high density space efficient bulk storage. Stock selectivity is lower using Double Deep Racking but there is a greater ability to store large quantities of stock. Drive-in Racking works on a first in, last out system so is ideal for storing large quantities of a small number of SKU’s or seasonal ranges.

Cantilever Racking is formed using heavy duty structural uprights and heavy duty arms. It is specifically designed to handle long and awkward loads that are not palletised. Carpet Racking is formed from standard pallet racking, decked with chipboard or timber to support the carpet rolls.

Pallet Live Storage, Push-Back Racking and Carton Flow Racking are covered under the banner of Dynamic Storage. This refers to systems that are designed around the actual product moving, whether it is via rollers, physically pushed back or where the product and rack both move. All the systems in this category offer quality solutions to specific storage and stock rotation requirements.
