Wide Aisle Pallet Racking Systems
Wide Aisle Racking is a system of upright frames and horizontal beams. Available in a wide range of sizes and duties it also has a suite of complementary accessories.
Wide Aisle is made to support pallets of goods, although it can also be used as heavy duty shelving or, with accessories, to support other unit loads such as coils, drums or carpets.

Points to consider
Probably the most common type of racking system used, however:
- It doesn’t offer optimal effective use of space
- Stock can only be picked from a low level
- Limited height usage due to forklift and driver limitations
Other types of Pallet Racking
- Drive-in Racking System - is a system of vertical upright frames and horizontal support rails, which allows pallets to be supported vertically and in multiple depths. The support rails allow forklift trucks to enter the rack and so enable multiple depth storage
- Double Deep Racking System - is a system of upright frames and horizontal beams available in a wide range of sizes and duties.
- Very Narrow Aisle Racking System - is a system of upright frames and horizontal beams, available in a wide range of sizes and duties. Due to a reduction in the size of the aisle widths it offers much greater storage density than wide aisle racking.
